The Joker, is seen as a Crime Thriller and has aspects of a psychological thriller aswell. Failed comedian Arthur Fleck, played by Joaquin Pheonix, disguises himself as a clown as an attempt to feel like hes apart of the world around him. He was isolated and disregarded by society and due to this he begins to go mad and transforms himself into a criminal mastermind who paints his face as a clown to hide his identity.

A young lawyer joins a small but prestigious law firm only to find out that most of their clients are on the wrong side of the law.
